AgroWorld Qazaqstan 2026: Investment in Kazakhstan’s Agricultural Sector Continues to Grow

The 20th AgroWorld Qazaqstan International Agricultural Exhibition will take place in Almaty from October 28 to 30, 2026. More than 180 companies from over 20 countries will showcase technologies for the agricultural sector, ranging from irrigation systems and livestock equipment to digital solutions and artificial intelligence.

Investment Drives Technological Modernization

The anniversary exhibition comes amid growing investment in Kazakhstan’s agricultural sector. According to figures cited by the organizers, fixed capital investment in the agro-industrial complex reached KZT 926 billion in the first half of 2026, an increase of 55% compared with the same period last year.

The Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan forecasts that this figure could reach KZT 2.2 trillion by the end of the year. An additional KZT 750 billion has been allocated for concessional financing of agricultural fieldwork, while preferential leasing of agricultural machinery has increased from KZT 250 billion to KZT 350 billion.

Against this backdrop, agribusinesses are showing growing interest in technologies that can modernize production, improve resource efficiency, and boost productivity.

International Technologies and Poultry Industry Development

More than 180 companies are expected to participate in AgroWorld Qazaqstan 2026. Germany, Georgia, the Netherlands, and South Korea will present national exhibitions. Participants include Amazone, Big Dutchman, Cargill, FAMSUN, FACCO, Metzer, and other international and Kazakhstani companies.

The exhibition will cover crop production, livestock farming, poultry farming, greenhouse cultivation, irrigation, agricultural processing, and machinery.

Particular attention will be given to the poultry industry. Over the past five years, the exhibition's poultry section has grown fourfold.

AI, Water Security, and Financing

The exhibition's business program will focus on practical challenges facing agribusinesses.

On October 28, participants will discuss the digital transformation of agriculture, the application of artificial intelligence, and the economic efficiency of AgTech solutions. A separate strategic session will address water security, irrigation management, and the digitalization of water distribution.

The program will also feature discussions on carbon farming, the role of women in agribusiness, animal nutrition and veterinary technologies, horticultural development, and the production of high-quality planting materials.

Consultations on agricultural lending and leasing are scheduled for October 30. Throughout the three-day event, representatives of businesses, government agencies, and industry associations will hold meetings.

From Exploring Technologies to Implementing Them

Over its 20-year history, AgroWorld Qazaqstan has brought together more than 4,000 companies from 30 countries and over 32,000 industry professionals.

The exhibition's evolving agenda reflects changing priorities in agribusiness. Today, companies are interested not only in purchasing equipment but also in assessing the economic viability of new technologies, access to financing, and opportunities for implementation under specific production conditions.

AgroWorld Qazaqstan is organized by Iteca and ICA Events, with support from Kazakhstan's Ministry of Agriculture, the Almaty City Administration, and industry associations.

The exhibition will take place on October 28–30, 2026, at the Atakent Exhibition Centre in Almaty, Pavilions 9 and 10.
